Ode to Thrift Stores

Veteran's Day Sale

Heads up, thrifty shoppers! Our annual Veterans Day sale is right around the corner. Join us this coming Wednesday, November 11, for big discounts on almost the entire store! Be sure to come by early, as this holiday sale tends to be busy.

While we are excited to have you, please respect our store policies as we continue to operate with everyone’s safety in mind during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our store policies are listed below as a reminder.

  • The 6’ Rule: Do your best to keep a safe distance from others throughout the store, taking special care not to lean on the counters when looking at jewelry items and when completing your purchase with a cashier.

  • Masks: All employees will be wearing masks in order to protect from the spread of germs and we ask that you wear one too, though it is not required.

  • One-way Aisles: All of our clothing aisles have directional arrows guiding you through the store to avoid close contact with others. Please follow them.

Once again, we are very happy to be hosting this annual sale and cannot wait to see you this Wednesday. Happy thrifting!

The Spooky Season is Here, What Will You Be This Year?

As Halloween quickly approaches, we encourage everyone to come in to one of our stores to shop for the perfect costume. We have bounties of costume jewelry (as well as the real stuff!) and our clothing racks are filled with items across many styles and material. While you’re at it, you could bring in your gently used clothing and household goods to donate before you shop— how efficient! Happy Thrifting!

Donations: You Have What We Want!

We have received a number of donations-related questions lately and are so grateful for your generosity! To help ease the process and avoid confusion, we are posting some of the most commonly asked questions below for you to review.

  • I have donations, will you come get them? Yes! We are thrilled that you have chosen to donate your gently used clothing and household items to us, and will gladly take them off your hands. You can schedule a pick up by going to www.scheduleapickup.com or calling (800) 775-VETS (8387).

  • What can I donate? For the most part, anything you have in your home that is in working condition that you no longer need or use. A good rule of thumb for questionable items is to ask yourself if you’ve seen one for sale in our store before. Some items we cannot take are televisions, larger furniture items (requires more than one person to lift), and food.

Happy thrifting!
